LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A lawsuit against Nichole Beer claims she made defamatory statements about Clark County Education Association Executive Director and former CCEA Vice President.
Court documents detail comments made public by Nichole Beer on the social media platform X over three months, in which she made several misconduct claims.
These comments were made about James Frazee, former Vice President of CCEA, and John Vellardita, CCEA Executive Director.
Frazee and Vellardita are taking legal action against Beer for her alleged defamatory statements against the pair.
In a tweet, Breer claimed Vellardita is an advocate for child molesters to join CCEA leadership.
The allegations against Beer argue that her statements attack the reputation of CCEA and its members.
The lawsuit argues that those statements claimed that CCEA would allow a pedophile to work in a leadership position and that CCEA would condone, facilitate, or commit crimes.
In another tweet the following month, Beer said in part, “JV supports a pedophile as VP of CCEA, and because it’s true, you’ll never hear of me getting sued. Come for me,”
In a series of other tweets, Beer made claims of a cover-up to a situation where a “child was beaten bare naked,”
Fraze and Vellardita seek payment for the damages they say her statements have caused.
The pair have also requested a trial to take place.
FOX5 reached out to CCEA for comment. They say they are unable to speak on pending litigation.
