The Clark County assistant district attorney requested a bail amount of $1 million. The county argued Mendoza is a flight risk and weighted the severity of his crimes.

In North Las Vegas Tuesday, a $500K bail amount was set for the attack on law enforcement officers.

The county said the suspect stalked the victim and her family. He’s also accused of placing a GPS tracker into the victim’s vehicle.

Mendoza’s attorney requested a reasonable bail amount.

Judge Nadia Wood says she will consider the circumstances. On Monday, she’ll decide on the bail amount.
