LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County School District is set to reconsider the future of Earl B. Lundy Elementary School.

CCSD will reconsider an agenda item from Aug. 7 of this year.

The school has remained closed since it was damaged by Tropical Storm Hilary.

The district stated the repairs for the school would cost up to $6 million.

While the school has remained closed students were temporarily assigned to Indian Springs Elementary.

In early Aug. CCSD officials traveled to Mt. Charleston to share options for saving the community’s only elementary school, as concerned parents and community members plead for solutions days before the school year.

Last August, storms damaged Lundy Elementary and CCSD temporarily assigned students to Indian Springs Elementary.
