LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada has recorded 78 traffic deaths so far this year, down 22% from 100 at the same point last year, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety’s Statewide Monthly Fatal Report released of Wednesday.
In Clark County, fatalities fell to 50 year-to-date, which is down from 68 during the same reporting period in 2025. Fatal crashes in Clark County also dropped from 66 to 48, a 27% decrease.

Among people outside of cars in Clark County, pedestrian deaths declined from 25 to 17, bicyclist deaths fell from 4 to 1, while motorcyclist deaths held steady at 16. The category listed as “other” in the report increased from 0 to 2. This includes vehicles like scooters, mopeds, and ATVs.
Statewide, Nevada recorded 73 fatal crashes from Jan. 1 through March 31, down from 95 a year ago. The month-by-month breakdown shows fatalities decreased in January (39 to 30), February (32 to 25), and March (29 to 23) compared with last year.
