LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson children could vote for the ice cream finalists during the general election.

Henderson Kids Vote is coming back in November after eight ice cream flavors are now down to two.

Cookies and cream and vanilla are the finalists after the primary election.

The election for kids took place in Henderson.

Henderson children could vote between the two starting Monday, Oct. 21. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.

“We are so excited by how many kids have showed up to participate in the democratic process and pick their favorite flavor of ice cream,” said City Clerk Jose Luis Valdez. “It all comes down to cookies and cream or vanilla, so make sure your voice is heard and vote during the General Election!”

Purple Penguin Snowcone Shack says they will offer a free scoop of ice cream for young voters that participate in the General Election. Participants will also receive a special “I Voted” sticker.
