LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Drivers, especially those who don’t see well at night, will run into darker conditions on U.S. 95/I-11 near the Spaghetti Bowl.
NDOT confirms to FOX5 someone broke into a transformer on November 16 and ripped off copper wire.
The lights are out on both sides of the highway from Las Vegas Boulevard to Eastern. NDOT previously told FOX5 its electrician was working with NV Energy to get the power back on.
It’s not known when repairs will be made.
NDOT estimates the cost of the theft is $40,000.
