LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A couple who also faced charges in Boulder City for hoarding animals were served a suspended sentence by a Las Vegas District Court Judge.
According to officials Carolyn Luke, 78, and Timothy Miller, 80, were sentenced on a charge of Cruelty to Animals.

The couple was sentenced to probation for at least a year and a half. They are also expected to pay $13,800 to the City of Las Vegas Animal Protection Services in restitution.
A no contact order was issued to the pair, which prohibits them to have possession, custody, or control any animals.
FOX5 previously reported the couple was located in Boulder City hoarding nearly 200 animals. They were sentenced to house arrest in 2024.
During a hearing the judge ruled that they will each serve a two-and-a-half-year suspended sentence on house arrest.
