It was just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bella Vita Apartments near Decatur and Harmon. Police say 38-year-old Wade David Griffith pulled a knife on someone.

Police say officers attempted to speak to him, but he did not comply. From there, Metro says there was a fight with Griffith in which he pulled what they think was a knife on the officers. Police then shot him. He’s in critical condition, and no officers were hurt.

Monday’s court hearing was pushed to Wednesday.
