LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Culinary Workers Union Local 226 members gathered outside Allegiant Stadium Thursday evening, calling for better wages, job security, and consistent annual raises for concession workers.
The union represents more than 730 workers inside the stadium, including cooks, servers, and bartenders. Workers are seeking improved compensation during football season and other events held at the venue.
Oak View Group, which took over the union contract in February of last year, currently represents the stadium. The company did not respond to a request for comment on the picket.
