LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 has learned the date for when Paradise Spa condo residents must leave.
It is August 31, according to HOA president Dennis Snapp.
He says the date is a court mandated deadline. He tells FOX5 if anyone is on site after that deadline they will be trespassing and says if any property is left behind it would be considered abandoned.

The property is being sold old for development.
Snapp says there are about 100 families still on the property. He says Clark County officials have visited the site to talk to people about housing resources and low-income housing. He says some people right now don’t know where they will go.
The once opulent Paradise Spa condos attracted people like Elvis Presley and the “Rat Pack” in its heyday.
The luxury condo association complex had a pool, hot tubs, a tennis court and even a lake. Snapp has told FOX5 the area was bought in 2006 to be developed but then the 2008 market crash happened. He says investors had financial issues and the complex never recovered.
Several fires have plagued the complex, at least nine in 15 years, according to Snapp. Some of the fires have been deadly. He says some were caused by homeless people, who broke into abandoned buildings.
