LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person is dead following a deadly apartment fire that occurred Saturday night, according to the Clark County Fire Department Fire Chief.
CCFD officials report that at 7 p.m., fire crews responded to the Casa Vegas Apartments located on Vegas Valley near Maryland Parkway.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered one individual deceased within one of the affected units. Authorities have confirmed that no other injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Officials report the damages were estimated to be around $50,000.
The American Red Cross is assisting four people and one animal from an adjacent unit that was also impacted by the fire. A total of two units were affected by the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by local authorities.
