LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A driver is dead Tuesday morning following a multi-car crash on the 215 in the south valley, police say.
According to Nevada State Police, a three-car crash occurred around 12:50 a.m. on eastbound I-215, east of Jones Boulevard. One adult driver was confirmed deceased on scene, but further details about the crash were not immediately available.
All travel lanes are closed on eastbound I-215 at Jones Boulevard. The eastbound I-215 Jones on-ramp is also closed.
This also comes amid scheduled maintenance work on the I-15 southbound ramp to the 215 westbound ramp, which was expected to open by 3 a.m.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes, while an investigation is ongoing.
