LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A new strategy memo from the Democratic Party shows a focused effort to pick up seats in the Nevada Assembly during next year’s midterms.

This week, the Nevada Assembly was added to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee’s updated target map.

Data shows Democrats outperformed expectations in targeted districts in 2025, and party officials say if that trend continues, Nevada could deliver the biggest Democratic gains at this level in two decades.

As of this month, Nevada has more than two million active registered voters. Democrats are targeting Assembly gains, but Republicans hold nearly the same share, setting up a tight contest.
