LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County Justice Court Judge Amy Chelini waived bail and placed former Nevada attorney John Scott MacDonald on house arrest.
A court hearing occurred on Aug. 27, where MacDonald faces numerous felonies.
State prosecutors requested $250,000 for Macdonald’s bail with travel restrictions.
MacDonald was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for perjury, forging court documents, and taking thousands of dollars from people experiencing foreclosure.
According to court records, a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 5.
