Downtown Las Vegas dive bar working to quickly reopen after crash left hole in wall

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A downtown Las Vegas dive bar is set to reopen Thursday after a car crashed into it.

Dinos Lounge has been closed for more than a week, and the owner says fixing it up has been a labor of love.

“We’ve been open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since 1962,” said owner Kristin Bartolo.

Bartolo was forced to close her bar nine days ago after someone drove into it and left a hole in the wall and damage to the inside.

The suspect, Margarette Williams, was taken to the hospital where police say she refused a sobriety and blood test. According to an arrest report, she faces several charges including DUI and driving without a license.

Since the crash, Bartolo’s team has been working around the clock to reopen as quickly as possible.
