LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly crash in the east valley Wednesday morning.

Around 7:33 a.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Charleston and Lamb, which attempted to flee the area and struck a pedestrian and two other vehicles.

Police say the driver is in custody, and the pedestrian has been confirmed dead.

Police are expected to provide more details later this morning.

The intersection is closed in all directions while an investigation is underway.
