LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A driver showed signs of impairment and is in custody as Las Vegas police investigate a crash Wednesday morning.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is on scene at a crash on Tropicana Avenue and Pecos Road since 10:42 a.m.
When officers arrived, they said they learned that one of the drivers self-transported to the hospital. Police do not know their condition. However, the second driver remained on scene.
After an initial investigation, officers determined that the driver on scene showed signs of impairment. Police took the driver into custody.
“This remains an ongoing investigation,” police said. “Please avoid the area.”
