LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A driver was sent to the hospital after a crash with a construction truck Monday morning.

The Henderson police and fire departments said the crash happened around 6:29 a.m. at Boulder Highway and Galleria Drive.

Police said the driver of a minivan traveled southbound on Boulder Highway and ran a red light before turning left onto Galleria.

At the same moment, a construction truck traveled northbound on Boulder Highway. The crash happened in the intersection when the minivan driver struck the rear tires of the truck.

Police said the minivan’s driver was sent to the hospital with “minor” injuries.

Police said speed and impairment are not factors in the crash.
