LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police said while they were investigating a crash on the Las Vegas Strip Friday evening, a driver trying to avoid the scene hit two pedestrians.
Officers have been on scene at Las Vegas Boulevard near Paris. Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the first crash was “minor,” involving two vehicles that happened just after 2 p.m.
Police said another driver tried to avoid the scene, but hit two pedestrians at a “low speed.” Both are being transported to the hospital. The driver’s condition was not immediately confirmed by police.
LVMPD Traffic is investigating both incidents. Officials confirm the injuries are not life-threatening. Traffic is expected to be impacted for the next one to two hours.
