LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Durango Casino & Resort is set to open its new high-limit slot room and multi-level parking garage Monday afternoon, completing the first phase of the southwest Las Vegas resort’s expansion.
The high-limit slot room is set to open at 5 p.m. and spans more than 8,000 square feet of gaming and lounge space. The room features 120 high-limit slot machines, including 30 new titles, and a 16-seat bar with multi-game bar top machines.
“We are incredibly proud to unveil the first phase of Durango’s expansion including one of the city’s nicest high limit slot rooms,” said David Horn, vice president and general manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “With the addition of more of the latest and most relevant games on the casino floor, easy and free parking and high touch service in our high limit room, we continue to offer our guests an exciting, convenient gaming experience.”
Gaming features and amenities
The slot room includes Dragon Link machines with Station Casinos’ linked progressive jackpots ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000. New games include Arctic Express, Super Hot Flaming Pots and Wolf Run Wild Moon.
The room offers dedicated guest service attendants, a full-time hospitality butler, two private restrooms and a high-limit cage. Players can use “MyPay,” a digital system for faster payouts.
The bar serves wine, champagne, cocktails and premium spirits alongside a 24-hour coffee and tea program. A covered patio behind the bar includes seating, sports viewing and cigar smoking areas.

New parking structure
The new parking garage adds nearly 2,000 spaces with free self-parking and valet service. The structure connects directly to the expanded casino via elevators and stairs.
The garage features green lights to indicate available parking spaces. VIP Chairman parking provides covered access to the casino.

To celebrate the opening, Durango is giving out scratch cards to the first 100 guests Monday evening. Prizes include dining credits, free play, VIP parking passes and a $500 grand prize.
Expansion details
The casino floor expansion, which opened Nov. 7, added more than 6,000 square feet of gaming space with over 100 new games and machines.
Durango opened in 2023. Station Casinos announced plans for a north expansion that will add 275,000 square feet of gaming, dining and recreational space.
