LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County Coroner’s office announced the death of an elderly man a little over a month after he was involved in a crash.
According to Las Vegas Metro police the crash occurred on Dec. 30 just after 9 a.m. on Harbor Island Drive north of W. Lake Mead Boulevard.
An 87-year-old man was driving a 2013 Cadillac SRX traveling northbound when he attempted to make a left turn on Lake Mead. As he turned the elderly man collided with a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas heading south. The driver identified as 71-year-old Alarcia Gloria, police report.
Neither drivers showed signs of driving impaired.
Police say, the driver of the Cadillac was taken to the hospital. The male died on Feb. 6, 2025 at Nathan Adelson Hospice.
LVMPD says the investigation is ongoing.
