LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Ilana Ceniceros told detectives she did not mean to shoot her ex-boyfriend.
18-year-old Ilana Ceniceros was arrested by Las Vegas Police for the deadly shooting of Khoice Robertson.
The victim’s sister identified Robertson and told police she believed Roberton’s ex-girlfriend may be involved.
The arrest report details an interview with police in which the Ceniceros claimed the pair had dated on and off for eight years. According to police, Cieniceros claimed Robertson was her first love.
Homicide detectives conducted a digital forensics search of Robertson’s phone and found Ceniceros to be the last caller.
LVMPD shared they found a gun that matched one Ceniceros had in her car, and surveillance video obtained near the crime scene shows a vehicle they explained looked similar to hers.
The arrest report said Ceniceros went to the apartment alone, dressed in a hoodie, to “scare” Robertson.
Ceniceros is currently booked at Clark County Detention Center and is set to appear before a judge on Thursday, Sept. 5.
