LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A lawyer representing the victim of a deadly officer-involved shooting is expected to hold a press conference Monday morning.

Last week, Brandon Durham was shot and killed by police officers during a struggle with a home invader, identified as Alejandra Boudreaux. In recently revealed body camera footage, Boudreaux can be seen holding a knife during the struggle.

During the incident, an officer ordered both to drop the knife, while another officer – identified as Officer Alexander Bookman – fired six shots. The Clark County Coroner determined that Durham died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Boudreaux, who is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter, was expected to make her initial appearance Monday morning. However, she refused transport.

In response, a judge has ordered that Boudreaux be present at her next hearing on Monday, Nov. 25.

A lawyer representing the Durham family is expected to address the media at 10 a.m.
