LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police say one person is dead after a motorcycle collided with an SUV.
On Oct. 25, just after 3 p.m., police responded to the crash on El Capitan Way south of Saddle Avenue.
According to police witness statements and surveillance video, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee was leaving a private drive driving northbound when a white Yiben 150cc motorcycle.
Reports say the rider was ejected after striking the left front side of the Jeep.
Medical professionals determined the rider died at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep was not suspected to be impaired and cooperated with police, according to LVMPD.
The fatality marks the 128th traffic-related death in Las Vegas Metro jurisdiction in 2024 so far.
The crash remains under investigation.
