LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – “Stoney’s Rockin’ Country” will close its popular location at the end of the year to make way for a new version at a Henderson resort, officials announced Thursday.
The well-known country bar, located in the Town Square Las Vegas shopping center, will remain open through the end of 2025 before opening the newly announced 19,000-square-foot bar at Sunset Station Hotel Casino in Henderson in 2026, according to representatives from Stoney’s Rockin’ Country.
The location will feature a live performance stage, a mechanical bull, and VIP spaces for group celebrations. According to the release, Sunset Station’s northeast area will house the new Stoney’s Rockin’ Country.
“Guests can expect a high-energy nightly lineup of country artists and DJs, along with themed nights like ladies’ nights, dancing lessons, and boot-stomping weekend parties,” officials said in a news release.
“We’re thrilled to bring the spirit of country music and expand our footprint with the opening of Stoney’s inside Sunset Station,” said Paul Lowden, president of Porchlight Hospitality, which owns Stoney’s.
The new location won’t be the first addition to the Stoney’s brand opening as a part of a Station Casino property. Stoney’s North Forty opened at Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino in northwest Las Vegas in 2023.

Officials say the landmark, located just south of the Las Vegas Strip, will close as the Sunset Station location opens. Dubbed the “hottest country nightspot this side of Texas,” Stoney’s Rockin’ Country hosted a campaign rally for then-candidate Donald Trump in 2023.
Construction on the new-look Stoney’s Rockin’ Country is expected to begin in August.
