LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A federal grand jury has indicted a man accused of lighting multiple Teslas on fire last month.
Paul Kim, 36, was arrested a week after police say he was caught on camera setting fires at a Tesla Collision near Jones and Badura. An investigation revealed that Kim had multiple Molotov cocktails and a .30 caliber AR-style firearm on his person during the attack.
Kim was also reportedly seen spray painting “RESIST” on the front of the building.
On Wednesday, a grand jury handed down two charges of arson, attempted arson, and unlawful possession of a firearm. From here, Kim will waive his preliminary hearing, but it is currently unclear when he will next face a federal judge.
Kim is also due in front of a Las Vegas judge to face state charges in August. He is currently facing 15 charges including arson and destruction of property, ten of which are felonies.
