LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Pahrump residents with DMV appointments may have to expect even longer wait times for the foreseeable future.
On Monday, the Nye County Sheriff’s Office announced that the Pahrump office will be closed for an “unknown period of time” after a fire broke out at 1780 E. Basin Avenue on Friday.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, though a spokesperson tells FOX5 that it appears to have originated on the roof and traveled through the building’s electrical system.
Las Vegas-area offices have agreed to accept walk-in traffic for Nye County residents. Those with appointments should let administrators at each office know they are from Nye County.
