LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are responding to an overnight crash that injured five people in the southeast valley.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, multiple vehicles crashed in the area of Desert Inn Road and Boulder Highway around 10:44 p.m. on Monday. Impairment is suspected to be a factor.
Arriving officers transported two determined to have life-threatening injuries to nearby hospitals, and three others with minor injuries.
Desert Inn and Boulder Highway will remain closed until police conclude their investigation, and the crash debris is cleaned up.
Police urge early morning commuters to avoid the area and slow down when driving.
