LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Southern Nevada is under a flood watch Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, the flood watch is active until 5 a.m. Wednesday.

FOX5 has been monitoring power outages and flight delays since Tuesday afternoon. Just before 8 p.m., NV Energy’s website displayed over 2,500 customers were without power.

The number of customers impacted has dropped just below 1,000.

At 4 p.m. only 900 customers were impacted by outages.

Delays at Harry Reid International Airport have increased to 310 compared to 245 this afternoon, according to FlightAware.

Travelers experienced a 30-minute ground delay for departing flights which has since been cleared by the FAA.
