LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -The Las Vegas Strip looks ready for racing.

FOX5 drove the Strip on Tuesday. Crews appeared to be putting the finishing touches on the viewing area at the Venetian.

There is also a large viewing area outside Fashion Show Mall. Track lighting looked complete as did the grandstands outside the Bellagio.

Taylor Warren and Tim Browns made their very first trip to Las Vegas from Montana.

“Lot of feet walking. My feet are sore,” Warren said.

She knew F1 preparations would be going on during their trip, and it didn’t deter them from visiting.

Browns said the F1 infrastructure is interesting.

“I think it’s pretty cool,” said Browns.

Formula 1 cars hit the track Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. for the first practice session. The Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix runs from November 21-23.
