LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Another restaurant near the Las Vegas Strip filed a lawsuit against Formula 1.
FOX5 previously reported that Battista’s and Stage Door Casino filed a lawsuit early September. The two Strip businesses blame the race for losses they suffered during last year’s construction and race.
Wednesday, FOX5 obtained a lawsuit on behalf of Ferraro’s Ristorante, near Paradise and Harmon.
Ferrraro’s says it suffered millions in losses and thousands of guests.
The lawsuit cites the Flamingo and Koval bridge. It claims the bridge prevented traffic to Ferraro’s for months. It also made it difficult for employees to get to work on time.
Ferraro’s is seeking multiple claims of relief that total to over $30,000.
Ferraro’s opened on Nov. 5, 1985. The lawsuit says it’s Las Vegas’ longest running family-owned Italian restaurant.
Despite its success, Ferraro’s says the F1 race jeopardized it’s future and legacy.
