LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Freakling Bros. Horror Shows will return in time for Halloween 2026 after a pause for this year’s spooky season, officials said Friday.
The owner of the haunted attraction announced in July that the show, which has run in Las Vegas for more than 31 years, would be paused for the 2025 Halloween season in an effort to “evolve” for a return in 2026. On Friday, officials announced what next year’s revival would look like.
“The Nest,” a new concept for the haunt, is slated for 2026. Officials included a description of the attraction:
“It is feeding time and all of Las Vegas will be the food. They burrow, they chew, they infect, and finally… they replicate. There is no exterminator who can save you. One year from now, prepare to submit to The Nest. Fumigation is only the beginning…”
A focus on film efforts, such as “Strange Darling” and “The Long Walk,” on the part of JT Mollner, the co-owner and creative director of Freakling Bros. Horror Shows, was cited as the reason for the 2025 pause. However, according to the release, the extra time allowed for a “bigger, bolder” show.
“We’ve been preparing to replace Castle Vampyre, our most iconic and long-running haunt, and we want to do it right,” said JT Mollner, co-owner and creative director of Freakling Bros. Horror Shows. “Our fans deserve nothing less than the full Freakling Bros. experience and we’re excited to deliver a show that is truly horrifying and spectacular in 2026.”
The return will include three experiences alongside “The Nest,” including “COVEN of 13,” and the R-rated “Gates of Hell.” More info on the show is available on the Freakling Bros. website.
