LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Henderson City Council could provide funds for the Black Mountain Nature Preserve project.
According to the council’s agenda, they are expected to approve a an agreement for engineering services at Black Mountain. This is between LAGE Design and the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act.
If approved, this would approve LAGE Design to move forward with a design and master plan for the project. This could consist of a parking lot, trailhead, waysides and natural surface trails to the Black Mountain area.
This covers over 1,200 acres. The Henderson City Council meeting starts at 4 p.m.
