LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are responding to a gas leak in the east valley Monday morning.
According to LVMPD, a gas leak was reported around 3:47 a.m. on Maryland Parkway between Sierra Vista and Dumont. North and southbound lanes were closed as Southwest Gas arrived on scene to make repairs.
Further details about the nature of the leak were not immediately available.
The closures were expected to remain in place until the gas leak is fixed. As of 6:30 a.m., Maryland Pkwy has partially reopened.
