LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Customers are left hung out to dry after a North Las Vegas dry cleaner abruptly closed, leaving their belongings hanging inside.

FOX5 is getting to the bottom of how those customers get their belongings back.

Organic Dry Cleaner sits off East Centennial Parkway.

The owner of Delucias Pizzeria is right next door. Arsashes Julhaykkan said a “business closed” sign has been on the door for weeks.

Better Business Bureau of Southern Nevada’s Operations Director Rhonda Mettler said customers who can’t get in touch with the business should try to contact the property manager.

FOX5 obtained a number believed to be the property manager’s. We reached out and have not heard back yet.

Next, Mettler says customers should send a Certified Letter. A Certified Letter provides the sender proof of delivery, and holds legal weight.

If that doesn’t work, she says customers might need to file in small claims court.

FOX5 reached out to the North Las Vegas Justice Court. A spokesperson for the court said they cannot provide legal advice, but they suggest anyone with questions contact Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada can be reached at 702-386-1070 or online by clicking here.
