LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — GFiber is rolling out a fiber optic internet network for homes and businesses across the Las Vegas Valley.

To mark the launch, GFiber is hosting a community event on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at El Dorado Cantina in Tivoli Village.

Las Vegas Mayor Berkley is expected to speak at the event about how the expanded connectivity could impact residents and local businesses.

Construction on the next-generation fiber network got underway in January 2025. The company said the network is designed to boost internet speeds, improve reliability, and add competition to the local broadband market.
