LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Vegas Golden Knights and the National Hockey League announced the team’s schedule for the 2024-25 season.
VGK will open the season at home on Wednesday, Oct. 9 against the Colorado Avalanche. It will be the sixth time in eight years that VGK opens their season on home ice.
VGK will host a five-game homestand in February, starting Thursday the 27th against the Chicago Blackhawks and ending Sunday, March 9 against the Los Angeles Kings. The first game against the NHL’s “newest” team, the Utah Hockey Club, will be Nov. 2.
The team’s longest road trip will be Wednesday, Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 27.
This year, the league will host the 2025 NHL 4 Nations Face-Off in February, meaning NHL All-Star Weekend will not be held this season.
