LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A gun was found on the campus of Tom Williams Elementary School Thursday.
The school is located near Lake Mead Boulevard and Pecos Road.
Principal Carrie Reasbeck said they cannot discuss individual student matters but explains the firearm was confiscated from the student.
“Please take this opportunity to discuss school safety with your student. If they ever face a situation where they are unsure whether or not to share information with an adult, please remind them to never hesitate to report anything that may be a safety issue,” the principal said in a letter sent out following the incident.
