Health District offers COVID-19 vaccines for uninsured children and adults in Nevada

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Southern Nevada Health District is now distributing COVID-19 vaccines for all those eligible through the Vaccines for Children and Section 317 programs.

The programs offer free vaccines for uninsured children and adults at the health district’s immunization clinics. The health district says the programs may be limited and the vaccines are subject to availability.

Vaccines are available by appointment. You can schedule them online or by calling (702) 759-0850.

The health district recommends the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone six months and older. They add that most health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, also cover the recommended vaccines.

The following clinics offer COVID-19 vaccines:

  • Main Public Health Center – 280 S. Decatur Blvd.
  • East Las Vegas Public Health Center – 2950 E. Bonanza Rd.
  • Henderson Public Health Center – 220 E. Horizon Dr., Suites A & C
  • Mesquite Public Health Center – 150 N. Yucca St., Suites 3 & 4
