LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Henderson City Council plans to censure Councilwoman Carrie Cox in a special meeting next week.
Cox has been at the center of an investigation where she is accused of illegally recording another council member’s conversation.
Cox was indicted by a grand jury last week for an incident back in January. Court documents say Carrie Cox illegally recorded a conversation between Councilwoman Monica Larson and two real estate agents.

Cox has denied the incident but has acknowledged the report. The councilwoman was not at Thursday’s meeting in person but did vote over the phone.
The Henderson City Council meets Monday for the censuring.
