LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson Fire Department is investigating reports of hazardous materials at a post office in the southeast valley.

Just before 3 p.m., HFD dispatched its HAZMAT team to a United States Postal Service office near the intersection of Boulder Highway and Lake Mead Parkway.

Officials are on scene investigating the unknown substance. At this time, no injuries have been reported, and the building has been evacuated.

The fire department has requested Metro’s ARMOR unit.

They say this remains an active scene.
