LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson police are investigating a shooting involving a female minor Saturday night.
Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of the shooting in the 1100 block of Wigwam Avenue around 8:58 p.m.
Arriving officers located a female juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound, and took her to a nearby hospital. Police say she is in “stable condition.”
Police have determined that the suspect involved was an acquaintance of the victim and fled the area before officers arrived. They add that this was not a random act.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
