LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Henderson townhome was turned inside-out during a weekend-long barricade back in April.

More than four months later, there appears to be no progress made on repairing that damage.

Some neighbors tell FOX5 they’re tired of having to explain the eye-soar to visitors and are worried about the effect it will have on property value.

Others say they’ve grown numb to it.

“I think just nobody cares. It’s interesting, it’s my saying, ‘better them than us,” a neighbor who lives near the damaged townhome, Marc Lemberger says. “It doesn’t affect them, so it’s not bothered.”

Back in May, the City of Henderson said the community’s HOA is responsible for paying for repairs to the structure of the building, and the property owners will be responsible for their individual townhomes.

At that time, the McAuley Homeowners Association told FOX5 in a statement they are working with insurance, the City of Henderson and legal counsel on the situation.

FOX5 has reached out to the McAuley Homeowners Association several times since then about their plans to fix the building and have not heard back.
