LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Consultants for the Clark County School District Board of Trustees have narrowed down a potential list of candidates for the next Superintendent.
The board will discuss which candidates to interview and approve the interview process, including updates to the candidate search timeline.
The consulting firm for the search, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, said 46 candidates applied to the CCSD job.
Here is the list of possible candidates:
- Jhone Ebert, current State Superintendent of Nevada
- Pedro Martinez, CEO of Chicago Public Schools and former Superintendent of Washoe County School District
- Jason Glass, former Commissioner Kentucky Dept of Education
- Joshua Starr, former Superintendent Montgomery County Public Schools, MD
- Jon Anzalone, Superintendent Of Camas School District, WA and former CCSD principal
- Ben Shuldiner, Superintendent Of Lansing School District, MI
Candidates will be interviewed Feb. 24 and 25 by the Board of Trustees. Then on March 10 and 11, the finalists will be interviewed again by trustees and in community forums with parents and students.
