LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police Search and Rescue saved three hikers from a snow-filled trail in Mt. Charleston, officials report.
According to a post shared by LVMPD Search and Rescue, on Nov. 26, around 4 p.m., three hikers were on a trail near Little Falls when one of the hikers slipped and landed on a ledge.
Police say one of the hikers attempted to save the individual who slipped, but they were then both unable to return to the trail. The third hiker sought help and contacted 911.
Officials report that an AIR1 extracted the two hikers. The pair was taken to the hospital and evaluated for hypothermia symptoms.
