LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Multiple witnesses are talking to FOX5 about the moment a murder suspect tore through the Las Vegas Valley, with police in pursuit.

North Las Vegas Police say the suspect, who is still unidentified, fled Aliante Casino Thursday morning after fatally shooting a man around 4:40 a.m.

Las Vegas local Anna Justice was on Spring Mountain and Polaris when she came face-to-face with the suspect.

“About 5:15 a.m., someone approached me with an AK through my car window,” Justice told FOX5. “[They] tried to pull on my door handle and told me to ‘get the f out of the car’ and drove off.”

She added, “I was going to drive off, but when I saw his weapon I gave up the vehicle and left with my life.”

Justice flagged down a police officer, but by that time, the suspect had led police to Boulder Highway in her car. There, the suspect would crash into a vehicle and steal another at gunpoint.

“It just surprised me that I put my seatbelt on, and if it wasn’t on, I wouldn’t be here,” Bill Henderson said.

FOX5 found Henderson by Tropicana and Boulder Highway, where he was looking over what was left of his car.

“I was in the turning lane right here on Boulder and Tropicana and, boom! That’s it, I just crashed! And my bags deployed,” he said.

Henderson tells FOX5 he was not able to see the suspect during the crash. “It’s like it wasn’t even real… Everything was in slow motion.”

Police say the suspect was speeding along Boulder Highway at more than 105 miles per hour before being stopped.

Two other individuals waiting at a bus stop nearby were also hurt, police shared. One of which is in critical condition.
