LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man was taken into custody after wielding a knife at a Las Vegas shopping center Wednesday, police say.
Las Vegas Metro Police said an armed suspect was causing a disturbance and damaging items inside a business. This started at 12:50 p.m. near Blue Diamond and Valley View.
Officers confronted the suspect outside the business, making demands to drop the knife. At first, the suspect did not comply.
Later, officers said the suspect was taken into custody.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation and to avoid the area due to police presence.
