LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – More than a year after the two Las Vegas athletes married, court records reveal that Kelsey Plum and Darren Waller are getting divorced.
Plum filed a petition for divorce on Tuesday morning, according to court records. In a social media post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Las Vegas Aces guard wrote, “I’m devastated. I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go.”
Waller, who has played tight end for the Raiders since 2018, was traded to the Giants shortly after getting married to Plum in 2023. Fans also accused former Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels of initially leaking the news of the duo’s wedding during the NFL Combine.
Plum also took to Twitter following news of Waller’s trade to weigh in on the accusations.
Waller has yet to make a statement about the divorce.
