LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas animal shelter is waiving adoption fees for adult pets at an upcoming event.
The Nevada SPCA says it’s hosting its annual “Adopt Till You Drop” event Friday, where adoption fees for adult pets will be waived. This includes pets ages six months and older, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and bunnies.
The shelter says there will be drinks and pizza provided.
“We have so many wonderful pets that have been waiting for new families. It’s a tremendously rewarding experience to be able to open your heart and home and make a lifelong commitment to a shelter animal,” said Amy Lee, the communications manager for the Nevada SPCA. “This also frees up valuable kennel space for us to continue caring for more homeless animals that need our help.”
Organizers say dogs, cats and bunnies will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Regular shelter hours of operation are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
