LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Culinary members and Virgin Hotels workers planned a civil disturbance Thursday evening.
People who were seen wearing yellow armbands were those preparing for the arrest.
Hundreds of workers are on strike as they are seeking higher pay in a brand new contract.
The union has reached new deals in the past year with other major resort operators but has not come to terms with Virgin Hotels.
This is not the first time the union has preselected some members to be arrested while protesting for a new contract.
They added the timing of this is bad with F1 weekend getting underway.
